Privacy Policy
As of 2026-05. This policy applies to www.callina.ai and to use of the Callina service (AI phone assistant).

2. Data processed when visiting the website
Technically necessary data is transmitted by your browser when visiting our site (IP address, date, time, page accessed, referrer, browser type). This data is stored in server logs and used solely to ensure undisrupted operation, error analysis, and defence against attacks.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest).
Retention: Server logs auto-deleted after 30 days.
3. Contact form and chat
When you contact us via the contact form or Crisp chat, your details (name, email, message) are stored to process the inquiry. We do not share this data with third parties.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) and (f) (legitimate interest).
Retention: 24 months, then deletion.
4. Processing as a processor
When you use the Callina service, we process call data and transcripts on behalf of the respective business customer. We act as a processor under Art. 28 GDPR. The business customer is the controller. Details are governed by a separately signed Data Processing Agreement (DPA).
5. Hosting and sub-processors
Hosted exclusively in certified EU data centres in Austria (Vienna) and Germany (Frankfurt). Sub-processors:
- Google Cloud (EU region) — infrastructure
- Twilio Inc. (EU region) — telephony / SIP
- Deepgram (EU region) — speech-to-text
- ElevenLabs Ltd. (EU region) — voice synthesis
- Anthropic / Google (EU region) — language models
- Stripe Payments Europe Ltd. — payments
- Cloudflare Inc. — DNS
- Crisp IM SAS (France/EU) — website chat
6. No use of data for training
Call data is not used to train models — neither by us nor our sub-processors.
7. Cookies
We use only technically necessary cookies (NEXT_LOCALE for language preference, callina-region-dismissed for the regional notice). No tracking, no advertising cookies, no profiling.
8. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, delete, restrict, port, and object (Arts. 15–21 GDPR). Send requests to hello@callina.ai. You may also lodge a complaint with the Austrian data protection authority (www.dsb.gv.at).
